If you are approached in the arrivals hall for taxi service, it is in your best interest not to use it. This is an illegal business conducted by people who in many cases also do not have the required business license.

You can find the cars of the carsharing providers in multi-storage car park 3 (P3) on level 0.

The car park can be reached by a short covered underground passage.

NEW CYCLE ROUTE FOR LOCALS, WORKERS AND CYCLING ENTHUSIASTS

Schwechat, Fischamend and Vienna Airport have created a cycle route with support from the province of Lower Austria for locals, workers and cycling enthusiasts. The route not only links the municipalities with the airport but also closes a loophole in the cycle paths connecting the centre of Vienna with Lower Austria.

The new airport cycle route runs from Schwechat via Vienna Airport to Fischamend and is ideal for cycling because it is flat. Around 35,000 people live close to the airport, and 20,000 people work there, including 40% from Lower Austria and 40% from Vienna. Thanks to the good infrastructure and connections to primary and secondary routes, it offers an environmentally sound alternative for journeys to work and for shopping or leisure.

The route links to the Thermenregion, Danube cycle paths on both sides of the river, the Donau‑Auen National Park and Lake Neusiedl. There are attractive bike stand locations, bike rentals Nextbike and clearly signposted route directions for cyclists using the 17 km route.
